BUTTERMILK LEMON PIE 
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. all purpose flour
2 c. buttermilk
1/2 c. water
3 egg yolks (slightly beaten)
6 tbsp lemon juice
2 tbsp. butter
3 egg whites
6 tbsp. sugar

Beat egg whites until stiff and add sugar. Beat well. Spread on top of pie and bake at 350°F until golden brown. Cool for 1 hour then refrigerate for at least 5 hours more.
