EASY BEEF BOURGUIGNON 
1 1/2 lbs. cubed beef, chuck or any other
1 onion, minced
1 clove garlic
1/2 c. tomato sauce
3 tbsp. wine vinegar
1 bay leaf
1/2 - 1 tsp. oregano (dried or fresh)
Salt & pepper to taste
1 c. red wine

Throw all ingredients in heavy casserole or pan and bake slowly (250 degrees) until done. Mushrooms, carrots or other vegetables may be added last hour.
