3 c. flour
6 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
2 eggs
1 c. milk
2 tsp. vanilla

Sift flour before measuring. Sift flour, baking powder, salt and sugar together, cut in shortening. Blend in well beaten eggs mixed with milk, blend in vanilla. Pour 1/2 batter into a greased and floured 8-9 x 13 pan. sprinkle with 1/2 streusel mix remaining. Pour remaining batter and sprinkle rest of streusel mix over top. Bake 25 to 30 minutes at 375 degrees.

STREUSEL:

1 c. brown sugar
4 tbsp. flour
4 tbsp. cinnamon
4 tbsp. melted butter
1 c. chopped nuts

Mix together.
