SWEDISH APPLE MEATBALLS 
5 lbs. ground beef
2 1/2 c. bread crumbs
1 1/4 c. thick applesauce
5 eggs, beaten
1 sm. onion
1 1/4 tsp. mace
1/2 tsp. allspice
2 tsp. salt
5 tbsp. butter

Mix all ingredients except butter; chill. Form into balls. Brown in skillet or in oven. Put in roaster. Make gravy and pour over meatballs. Bake 30 minutes or so.

GRAVY:

3/4 c. meat drippings
1 c. flour
2 c. beef consomme (beef broth)
4 1/4 c. water
1 tbsp. parsley flakes

Combine ingredients for gravy.
