MONKEY BUNS 
3/4 c. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 (8 oz.) cans biscuits (butterflake)
1 stick butter
1/2 c. pecans (may use more)

Cut biscuits into 4 pieces. Mix sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon in a plastic bag. Drop pieces of biscuits in a few at a time. Shake to coat well. Place pieces in a pan; do not crowd. Sprinkle with nuts.

In a saucepan, melt butter. Add enough sugar to remaining sugar mixture to equal 1 cup. Add 1 teaspoon cinnamon. Let this boil 1 minute. Spoon mixture over biscuits. Bake at 375 degrees until brown or done.
