3/4 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. milk
3 tbsp. butter, melted
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. cocoa
1 1/2 c. water

In square, ungreased pan, mix first five ingredients. Add the next three and mix well. Spread batter evenly in pan. Mix together the 1/2 cup of sugar, 1/2 cup brown sugar and cocoa and sprinkle over batter. Do not mix in. Pour water on top. Do not mix in. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes. Best served warm.
