SOURDOUGH BREAD
Starter:

3 tbsp. potato flakes
1 pkg. yeast
1/3 c. sugar
1 c. warm water
6 c. bread flour
1/2 c. vegetable oil
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. salt
1 1/2 c. warm water
all of Starter

Mix all ingredients well. Put in a bowl and cover with cloth. Let rise to double in size (about 2 to 3 hours in oven with light on). Knead a few minutes and divide into 3 loaves. Spray loaf pans with Pam and place 1 loaf in each pan. Let rise in oven (with light on) or any warm, draft free place until double in size.

Bake about 23 to 25 minutes in preheated 325°F oven.

Wonderful right out of the oven with a little butter on it. It will also make your house smell good for a couple of days.
