1 c. milk
3 tbsp. flour

Mix together in pan on top of stove. Keep heat high and stir well until mixture thickens. Remove from heat and cool to lukewarm. Mix well in bowl: 1/2 c. Crisco 1 c. sugar

Beat until creamy. When flour and milk mixture is cool, add to the creamy mixture until all is well blended. Add 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla. Cool well. Spread on cake.
