MICROWAVE PEANUT BRITTLE | |
1 c. sugar 1/2 c. light corn syrup 1 c. raw Spanish peanuts 1 tbsp. butter 1 tsp. vanilla 1 tsp. baking soda Put sugar and syrup in 10-inch round microwave safe dish. Cook on full power for 4 minutes in a 600 to 700 watt microwave (900 watt use 80% power). Stir well and add 1 cup peanuts. Cook on full power for 4 minutes 15 seconds (900 watt use 80% power). Add 1 tablespoon butter and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Stir. Cook for 2 minutes on full power in any microwave. Add baking soda. Mix well and pour on greased cookie sheet. Cool and break apart. |
