MICROWAVE PEANUT BRITTLE 
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1 c. raw Spanish peanuts
1 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda

Put sugar and syrup in 10-inch round microwave safe dish. Cook on full power for 4 minutes in a 600 to 700 watt microwave (900 watt use 80% power). Stir well and add 1 cup peanuts. Cook on full power for 4 minutes 15 seconds (900 watt use 80% power). Add 1 tablespoon butter and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Stir. Cook for 2 minutes on full power in any microwave. Add baking soda. Mix well and pour on greased cookie sheet. Cool and break apart.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
