SWEDISH RUSKS 
1 c. butter
1 3/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. almond extract
5 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cardamom
1 c. sour cream

Divide the dough into 6 equal parts. Shape each part into a 15 inch roll. Place 3 rolls on a cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Remove and cut rolls into 3/4 inch slices at an angle. Put back on cookie sheet and toast each side at 350 degrees until dry.
