CHEESY SCALLOPED POTATOES | |
1/2 lb. cheddar cheese 1/4 c. butter 4 tbsp. flour 2 c. milk 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper 2 small yellow onions 5 medium potatoes (or more) Preheat oven to 350°F. Shred cheese. Melt butter and blend in flour. Add milk. Cook and stir until thick. Add cheese, salt and pepper. After cheese melts, remove from heat. Slice potatoes and onions in baking dish. Pour sauce over potatoes and bake at 350°F for 1 hour. Makes 6 to 8 servings. |
