HAMBURGER RICE HOT DISH 
1 1/2 lbs. ground hamburger
5 to 6 celery sticks, sliced diagonally
1 lg. onion, sliced in lg. pieces
1 can mushrooms
1 can sliced water chestnuts
1/3 c. soy sauce
3 cans cream of mushroom soup
3 cans water
1 1/2 c. uncooked rice

Brown hamburger; drain. Add onion and celery. Cook 5 to 10 minutes until crisp/tender. Add remaining ingredients. This hot dish may be simmered in a Dutch oven on top of stove until liquid is absorbed and rice is done or may be cooked in a 350 degree oven for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
