HONEY BREAD 
1 pkg. yeast
3/4 c. warm (115 degrees) water
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
3 c. sifted flour, divided
1 egg
1/4 c. honey

Mix the yeast and warm water, add sugar and 1 1/2 cups flour. Beat 2 or 3 minutes. Add 1/4 cup honey and enough of remaining flour to make a smooth, elastic dough. Knead for 5 to 10 minutes by hand or use mixer instructions for dough hooks. Cover with damp cloth and allow to rise until double in bulk. Punch down, shape into loaves and place in a greased loaf pan. Let dough rise until double. Bake at 325 degrees for about 25 to 30 minutes until golden brown and the loaf sounds hollow when thumped.
