BAKED ONIONS 
4 medium onions
4 tsp. beef bouillon
4 tsp. butter

Peel onions. Flatten bottom of onion by slicing the root portion off the bottom of the onion. With a sharp knife, cut a small cone shape out around stem of onion. Place 1 teaspoon bouillon and 1 teaspoon butter in this cone. Wrap each onion in aluminum foil; set in baking pan or cookie sheet and bake in 350°F oven for 50 minutes to 1 hour.

Onions can also be cooked on the barbecue grill for about the same amount of time.
