SNAPPY CHEESE WAFERS 
2 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
1 c. butter, softened
1/2 tsp. red pepper
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1 tbsp. Tabasco
1 c. all-purpose flour, sifted
1 c. self-rising flour
2 c. crisp rice cereal

Combine cheese and butter. Cream until smooth in mixer. Add pepper, mustard and flour; mix well. Stir in rice cereal. Form dough into small balls. Flatten with a fork to make wafers. Place on lightly greased cookie sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes or until lightly brown. Store in airtight container. Yields 3 dozen.
