SOUR CREAM CHRISTMAS COOKIES 
2 c. brown sugar, packed
1/2 c. Crisco shortening
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sour cream
4 tsp. baking powder
4 1/2 c. flour
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. baking soda

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Combine all together mix well. Dough will be soft. Roll out thick on a well floured board. Cut and place on a greased baking sheet. Bake about 10 minutes. Frost and decorate. Yield: approximately 4 1/2 dozen.

NOTE: You can refrigerate dough and roll late. Also you can drop these by the spoon and flatten with a fork dipped in sugar or flour.
