VERSATILE CHOCOLATE PIE 
1 baked pie shell
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. Hershey's unsweetened powdered chocolate
1/2 c. butter
3 egg yolks
1/2 c. milk

MERINGUE:

3 egg whites
1/2 c. sugar

Combine butter, sugar, egg yolks, vanilla, milk and Hershey's chocolate in saucepan and cook over medium heat until thickened. Pour into pie shell. Top with meringue made by beating egg whites until stiff and gradually beating in sugar. Place pie in 450 degree oven until brown. Cool before serving. Serves 6-8.
