DARN GOOD CHILI 
2 lb. coarse ground round
1 lg. onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 (8 oz.) can water
1 tbsp. chili powder
1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1/2 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. ground cumin
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 tsp. salt
1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans, drained & rinsed

Brown ground meat, onion and green pepper. Add remaining ingredients except kidney beans. Cook slowly for at least 2 hours. Increase cayenne and/or chili powder for hotter chili.
