DARN GOOD CHILI | |
2 lb. coarse ground beef 1 lg. onion, chopped 1 green pepper, chopped 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce 1 (8 oz.) can water 1 tbsp. chili powder 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper 1/2 tsp. black pepper 1/2 tsp. oregano 1 tsp. ground cumin 2 cloves garlic, minced 1 tsp. salt 1 (16 oz.) can pinto beans, drained and rinsed Heat pressure cooker and brown meat, onion, green pepper. Add remaining ingredients except beans. Close cover securely. Place pressure regulator on vent pipe. Cook five minutes. Let pressure drop on its own accord. Add beans and heat through uncovered. Up to 2 cans of beans may be added. Increase cheyenne and/or chili powder for hotter chili. |
