SWEET AND SOUR MEAT BALLS 
5 slices dry bread (25)
2 lbs. ground beef (10 lbs.)
1/2 c. grated onion (2 1/2 c.)
2 eggs, slightly beaten (10)
1/2 tbsp. garlic salt (2 1/2 tbsp.)
1/4 tbsp. pepper (1 1/4 tbsp.)
1 tbsp. salt (3 tbsp.)

Ingredients in parenthesis is for "party size".

Cut bread in cubes; soak in a little cold water and then squeeze it out. Add rest of ingredients. Shape balls the size of walnuts. Place in shallow pan. Bake at 450 degrees for 15-18 minutes. Remove and place in crockpot for at least 20 minutes with sauce.

SAUCE:

1 lg. can tomato sauce (5)
1 c. brown sugar (5 c.)
1/4 c. vinegar (1 1/4 c.)
1/2 tsp. salt (2 1/2 tbsp.)
1 tbsp. grated onion (5 tbsp.)
10 gingersnaps, crushed (50)

Mix all ingredients. Bring to boil. Add cooked meatballs.
