1 c. butter, softened
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. lemon juice
6 eggs
4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
4 tsp. baking powder

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Mix butter and sugar. Add vanilla, lemon juice and slightly beaten eggs. In a separate bowl, mix flour, salt and baking powder well. Blend both mixtures together thoroughly. Refrigerate 1 hour. Pinch off pieces of dough the size of walnut and place 3 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10 minutes. Cool, then use your favorite frosting, candy, and such to decorate.
