LEMON NUT BREAD 
3/4 c. butter
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. lemon juice
1 1/4 c. sugar
3 eggs
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. milk
3/4 c. chopped pecans
2 tbsp. grated lemon rind

Cream butter, eggs and sugar. Add dry ingredients, milk and lemon juice. Stir in pecans and grated lemon rind. Pour into greased and floured 9x5 loaf pan. Bake 350 degrees for 1 hour and 20 minutes. Cool 5 minutes and remove from pan. You can substitute orange juice and orange rind in place of lemon.
