VEGETABLE CASSEROLE 
1 bag frozen corn
1 bag frozen mixed vegetables
1 onion
1 bell pepper
2 tbsp. oil
4 tbsp. butter
4 tbsp. flour
2 c. (1 1/2 cans) evaporated milk
1 (8 oz.) blue box Kraft cheese, grated
1 block butter
4-5 slices bread
About 1/2 c. water (enough to keep from sticking)

Saute onion and bell pepper in oil. Add vegetables, season and cook until tender.

In another pot, make white sauce of butter, flour and evaporated milk. Cook on medium heat until very thick. Mix with vegetables and place in casserole dish. Spread grated cheese over this. Cut up block of butter over this and add bread, which has been cubed. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes.
