ROYAL FROSTED 
1 lb. confectioners' sugar
3 lg. eggs
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar

In a medium size bowl, combine 1 pound unsifted confectioners' sugar, 3 large egg whites, and 1/2 teaspoon of cream of tartar. Beat until thick and fluffy. Cover with damp cloth while using to prevent from drying out. Enough for 2 layer cake or sheet cake. You may add a teaspoon of your favorite flavoring.
