SWEET CHOCOLATE CREAM CHEESE
BROWNIES
 
1 pkg. (4 oz.) sweet chocolate
1/4 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. chopped nuts

CREAM CHEESE TOPPING:

4 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/4 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tbsp. all-purpose flour

Preparing the brownie layer: Microwave chocolate and butter in a large bowl on Hi for 2 minutes or until butter is melted. Stir until chocolate is completely melted. Stir sugar into melted chocolate. Stir in eggs and vanilla until completely mixed. Mix in flour until well blended. Stir in nuts. Spread in greased 8 inch square pan.

Preparing cream cheese topping: In same bowl, mix cheese, sugar, egg and flour until smooth. Spoon over brownie mixture. Swirl to marblize with knife.

Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out almost clean. Do not overbake. Cool in pan. Cut into 16 squares.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
