RUBY'S FRESH VEGETABLE MARINATE | |
4 stalks fresh broccoli 8 lg. fresh mushrooms, sliced 1 med. green pepper, chopped 1 sm. head cauliflower-florets 1/2 c. sugar 1 tsp. salt 2 tsp. dry mustard 1/2 c. red wine vinegar 1 1/2 c. vegetable oil 1 sm. onion, chopped or spring onion 1 tbsp. poppy seed Remove florets from broccoli; cut into bite-size pieces (reserve stalks for other use). Combine florets, mushrooms, green pepper and cauliflower; toss lightly. Combine remaining ingredients. Mix well and pour over vegetables. Chill at least 3 hours. Mix well before serving. |
