CRANBERRY BANANA WALNUT 
1 c. fresh cranberries, stemmed and chopped
1 1/4 c. sugar
3 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped walnuts
1 egg
1/4 c. milk
3 tbsp. butter, melted
3 bananas, ripe, peeled and mashed

Combine berries and 1/4 cup sugar in small bowl; set aside. Sift flour, remaining 1 cup sugar, baking powder, soda and salt into bowl; stir in walnuts. Beat egg in medium bowl, stir in milk, melted butter, mashed bananas and cranberry mixture. Add all at once to flour mixture; stir just until blended.

Spoon evenly into 4 greased small loaf pans (5 3/4 x 3 1/2 x 2 1/4 inch). Bake in 350 degree oven for 45 minutes or bake in 1 large loaf pan for 1 hour and 15 minutes until wooden pick comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes, then remove and cool thoroughly.
