MOCK CHAMPAGNE 
8 lbs. sugar
6 c. water
3 oz. almond extract
3 oz. vanilla extract
1 1/2 tsp. citric acid

In large pan mix all ingredients. Boil for 5 minutes, being careful not to let it boil over. Use 1 1/2 cups of base to a 2 liter bottle of ginger ale. Serve iced.
