FLOUR TORTILLAS | |
2 c. flour 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. baking powder 1 tbsp. shortening 1/2 - 3/4 c. warm water Mix first 4 ingredients and then add water. Mix until dough can be gathered into a ball; let dough rest 15 minutes. Divide dough into 12 portions and shape into balls. On a lightly floured surface, roll out balls into circle. Cook on ungreased griddle over medium heat until lightly browned. |
