GLAZED CARROTS 
2 carrots
Boiling water
1 tsp. salt
1 can crushed pineapple, drained
1/2 c. dark brown sugar, packed

Wash carrots; pare. Slice on diagonal into 1 1/2 inch pieces. Place carrots in large saucepan. Add boiling water to 1 inch above. Add salt; bring to boil. Reduce heat; simmer 15 or 20 minutes. Drain. Combine carrots with pineapple and sugar. Cook, stirring constantly, over high heat 5 minutes or until carrots are glazed.
