APPLE - PECAN POUND CAKE | |
1 1/2 c. cooking oil 2 c. sugar 4 eggs 2 1/2 c. sifted plain flour 1/2 c. sifted self-rising flour 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. salt 3 c. apples, finely chopped 2 tbsp. vanilla 1 (5 oz.) pkg. pecans, chopped Combine oil and sugar; mix well. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Sift dry ingredients together; add to mixture, half at a time. Beat well. Add apples, nuts, and flavoring; mix well. Bake in 9 x 14 inch pan at 325 degrees for 1 hour. |
