SQUASH BAKED 
3 med. squash
1/2 tsp. salt
6 crackers, crumbled
1 egg, beaten
1 c. grated cheese
1/2 c. chopped onion

Cook squash and onion with salt and pepper to taste (with a little water to prevent scorching) until tender; mash and drain. Add cracker crumbs and egg to squash mixture. Pour in baking dish; bake for 30 minutes. Sprinkle cheese and bake until cheese melts. Serve warm.
