TOFFEE 
2 c. sugar
1 lb. butter
2 tbsp. light corn syrup
1/2 c. water
12 oz. milk chocolate chips
Chopped pecans

Combine sugar, butter, syrup, and water in large saucepan. Cook to hard crack stage (290 degrees). Butter large baking sheet. Pour candy mixture onto baking sheet. Sprinkle with pecans. Flip candy onto foil. Top with chocolate chips. As they melt, spread chocolate out with spatula. Cool 2 to 3 hours before breaking into pieces.
