PRETZEL SALAD 
3 tbsp. sugar
3/4 c. butter
2 1/2 c. coarsely crushed pretzels
8 oz. cream cheese
1 c. sugar
1 sm. container Cool Whip
6 oz. strawberry or raspberry Jello
2 c. boiling water
20 oz. frozen strawberries or raspberries

Bottom layer: Cream together sugar and butter. Add pretzels and press into 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes and let cool.

Middle layer: Cream together cream cheese and sugar. Add Cool Whip and spoon over pretzel layer.

Top layer: Add boiling water to Jello and mix thoroughly. Add the frozen fruit and mix until fruit thaws and Jello is somewhat set. Spoon Jello mixture over middle layer and refrigerate until firmly set and ready to serve.
