SPANISH RICE 
1 c. long grain rice
1 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. bell pepper, chopped
1/2 c. onion, chopped
8 oz. tomato sauce
1 tsp. garlic salt
1 1/4 tsp. comino
4 c. warm water

Melt butter in skillet. Add rice ad brown lightly. Mix in bell pepper, onion and spices. Pour tomato sauce over mixture, then add water. (Do not stir after water is added or rice will stick together.) Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer for about 30 minutes or until water is absorbed.
