SAUTE MUSHROOMS AND ONIONS 
1 lg. pkg. fresh mushrooms, sliced
2 lg. onions, chopped (lg. pieces)
1-2 cloves garlic, minced
3 tbsp. butter
5 tbsp. soy sauce

Saute onions and garlic in butter until transparent. Add mushrooms and soy sauce. Bring to full boil. Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes. Cover and let set 5-10 minutes. Good over baked potatoes.

I used king trumpet mushrooms for a meatier taste and added a tablespoon of dry sherry. The mushrooms gave up some juice which made a nice sauce.
