NEW ORLEANS RIBS 
Use 6-8 pounds of either beef or pork ribs. Place in shallow baking pan and pour the following marinade over ribs. Let stand for 1 hour.

MARINADE:

2 c. ketchup
1 c. water
2/3 c. vegetable oil
1/3 c. soy sauce
1/2 tsp. Tabasco
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp. vinegar
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. paprika

Bake in a hot oven (425 degrees) for 10 to 15 minutes; reduce heat to 350 degrees and continue baking for 45 to 50 minutes. Baste occasionally. Combine the following topping ingredients, sprinkle over ribs, return to oven for 10 to 15 minutes.

TOPPING:

2/3 c. fine bread crumbs
1/3 c. flour
1/4 c. brown sugar, packed firmly
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tbsp. dry mustard
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. ginger
