FRUIT COCKTAIL CAKE 
1 1/2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg
1 (#303) can fruit cocktail and juice

Sift together flour, sugar, baking soda and salt in mixing bowl. Add juice from fruit cocktail and egg. Mix well. Fold in fruit. Pour in an 8 or 9 inch square greased pan.

Sprinkle topping over top of cake. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes then lower heat to 315 degrees and bake another 15 minutes.

TOPPING:

1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
