PINEAPPLE REFRIGERATOR CAKE 
1/2 c. butter
2/3 c. sugar
2 eggs, well beaten
1 c. pecans, chopped
1 c. grape nuts
1 (9 oz.) can crushed pineapple
1 (7 1/4 oz.) box vanilla wafers

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, pecans, grape nuts and pineapple with juice. Crush wafers to make crumbs. In 8-inch square pan make alternate layers of crumbs and pineapple mixture. Start and finish with crumbs. Chill at least 8 hours. Cut in squares. Serve with a teaspoon of cool whip on top.
