GOURMET PORK CHOPS | |
8 center cut pork chops (fat removed) 2 tbsp. shortening 1 (2 1/4 oz.) can button mushrooms 1 env. dry onion soup mix 3/4 c. white table wine (or chicken broth) 3/4 c. chicken broth 2 tsp. bottle garlic spread 1 c. sour cream In a skillet brown pork chops in a small amount of shortening. Remove from pan. Add mushrooms to pan and brown lightly. Place chops, dry soup mix, wine, mushrooms, broth and garlic spread in a slow cooker. Cover and cook for 8 hours on low. Add sour cream and heat gently. Garnish with chopped parsley. |
