MICROWAVE CORDON BLEU | |
2 lg. chicken breasts, boned & halved 4 thin slices ham 4 pcs. cheese (1 x 1 x 1/2 inch) 4 tbsp. butter 1 tsp. lemon-herb seasoning 1/2 c. grated Swiss cheese Salt & pepper to taste Place each chicken breast between 2 sheets waxed paper. Pound with mallet until flat. Place slice of ham and piece of cheese on each slice. Pull sides of chicken up to cover ham and cheese. Secure with a toothpick. Melt butter in 9 inch round glass baking dish. (30 seconds on high cycle.) Add seasoning. Place chicken pieces in seasoned butter, spoon butter over chicken. Cover with waxed paper. Cook on high 1 1/2 minutes. Spoon liquid over chicken. Cover, cook on high 4 to 6 minutes. Sprinkle grated cheese over chicken. Cook 1 1/2 minutes. Let stand 3 to 5 minutes. |
