COLLARD GREENS | |
2 lbs. ham hocks, neck bones 3 lbs. collard greens 1 dried red pepper pod, sm. 2 tsp. bacon drippings. salt & pepper to taste Place meat in pot, cover and boil for 1 hour. Add collard greens thoroughly cleansed and washed. Bring to boil and cook until tender; 1 hour. Serve with sliced tomatoes, okra, sprinkled with pepper. Serves 10. |
