PIZZELLS 
1 lb. butter or melted sticks
3 c. sugar
9 egg yolks
9 egg whites
4 c. bread flour
1 c. cake flour
1 tsp. baking powder
2 tbsp. vanilla
1 tsp. anise oil
2 tbsp. whiskey

Melt butter; add sugar and mix well. Add egg yolks; mix well. Add flour and baking powder which has been sifted together 32 times. Beat egg whites then pour into above mixture, mix gently. Add whiskey, anise oil and vanilla. Batter is real soft. Heat iron well, drop a teaspoonful into center and cook.
