FRENCH LACE COOKIES | |
1/2 c. corn syrup 1/2 c. butter 2/3 c. brown sugar, firmly packed 1 c. all-purpose flour 1 c. nuts, chopped Combine corn syrup, butter and brown sugar in sauce pan. Bring to a boil. Remove from heat. Combine flour and nuts; blend into mixture in sauce pan. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet. Place 4 inches apart to allow for spreading. Bake at 325 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes until golden brown. Cool 1 minute. Carefully remove from cookie sheet. Reheat in oven for a few minutes to soften. Cookies may be dipped in chocolate. Melt a 12 ounce bag of chocolate chips and dip. |
