1 c. Spry shortening
1 c. peanut butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten
2 c. sifted flour

Combine shortening, salt and peanut butter. Mix well. Add sugar and brown sugar and mix well. Add beaten eggs and milk, then the flour and soda. Mix well. Drop by spoonfuls on greased baking sheet and press with a fork. Bake in moderate 325 degree oven for 15 to 20 minutes. Makes 5 dozen.
