PARMESAN POTATO FANS 
1/3 c. grated Parmesan cheese
1 1/2 tsp. dried parsley flakes
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. onion salt
1/4 tsp. paprika
6 med. potatoes
1/4 c. + 2 tbsp. butter

Combine first 5 ingredients; set aside. Wash potatoes and pat dry. Cut potatoes crosswise into 1/4 inch thick slices, cutting to, but not through, bottom of potato. Allow potatoes to stand in ice water for 10 minutes. Melt butter. Drain and arrange potatoes in 13 x 9 inch microwaveable baking dish. Brush top and sides of potatoes with butter. Cover with plastic wrap. Fold back one side of plastic wrap for steam to escape. Microwave 20-24 minutes on high, rearranging every 5 minutes and brushing with remaining butter. When done, sprinkle potatoes with cheese mixture. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
