1 lb. ground beef 1 lb. ground pork 1/4 lb. butter 1 chopped onion 1/2 green pepper, chopped 1/2 lb. coarsely ground cheddar cheese 1/2 can tomato paste 1 (8 oz.) can mushrooms 1 lb. can creamed corn 1 can pitted ripe olives 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 1 tbsp. paprika Salt and pepper 1 sm. bag elbow macaroni, cooked Saute meat 30 minutes. In a separate pan saute onion and pepper in butter. Drain meat and onions and pepper and all other ingredients except noodles and cheese. Simmer 30 minutes. Let sauce cool. Layer noodles, saute, and cheese in pan ending with cheese. Bake at 325-350 degrees for 30 minutes or until hot through. Better made the day before and cooked when needed. Can be frozen. |
