1 qt. hot water (hot from tap) 3 pkg. dry yeast 1 c. sugar 4 tsp. salt 1 c. powdered milk 1 c. instant potatoes 2 cubes butter, melted & cooled to lukewarm 4 beaten eggs About 5 c. flour Pour water in large bowl. Add ingredients as listed. Stir in 3 or 4 cups flour and stir well. Add more flour to make a slightly stiff dough. Shape dough into a ball. Place in a slightly greased bowl. Cover. Let rise in warm place until double in bulk (about 2 hours). Punch down and knead 1 minute. Let dough rest 10 minutes. Shape into dough rest 10 minutes. Shape into desired rolls. Cover and let rise 45 minutes (no longer). Bake 15-20 minutes at 350-375 degrees. |
