COCOA MARSHMALLOW COOKIES 
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. pecans
1 3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. cocoa
18 marshmallows, cut in half

Cream shortening and sugar; add egg, vanilla, milk and pecans. Sift flour, salt, soda and cocoa. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease cookie sheet. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheet. Bake 5 minutes. Remove; press marshmallow into center. Return to oven and bake 2 minutes. DO NOT OVERBAKE.

FROSTING:

2 c. XXX sugar
5 tbsp. cocoa
1/8 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. soft butter
4-5 tbsp. milk
Vanilla, some

Mix all together.
