SWEET AND SOUR MEATBALLS 
3/4 lb. ground beef
1/4 lb. lean sausage
3/4 c. rolled oats
1/2 tsp. onion salt
1/2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/4 c. finely chopped water chestnuts
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp. butter
Few drops hot pepper sauce
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. vinegar
1 tsp. paprika
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. cornstarch in 1 tsp. cold water

For meatballs, combine beef, sausage, oats, onion salt, milk, garlic salt, water chestnuts, Worcestershire sauce and hot pepper sauce. Shape into balls and brown in butter. For sauce, combine remaining ingredients in heavy sauce pan. Simmer for 30 minutes. Pour sauce over meatballs in slow cooker. Serve hot. Best if made and reheated.
